Eureka Chiropractor Indicted
A Eureka chiropractor is accused of devising a one-point-six-million-dollar Medicare fraud scheme. Carrie Musselman was indicted on charges of healthcare fraud, obstructing a federal audit and wire fraud. The indictment claims Musselman improperly submitted claims to Medicare saying work performed by mid-level physicians was done by actual physicians. Musselman’s practice in Eureka was raided by the FBI last year.
