ISP Awards Firearm Enforcement Grants To Law Enforcement Agencies
Illinois State Police will be awarding one-million-dollars in grants to 32 local law enforcement agencies across the state. The funding will be used to conduct firearm enforcement efforts to help keep firearms out of the hand of people who pose a significant threat to themselves or others. Agencies receiving grant money include the Champaign Police Department, Christian County Sheriff’s Office, DeKalb police department, and South Pekin Police Department.
