Champaign Man Sentenced For Child Enticement Crime
A Champaign man is being sentenced to 96 months in federal prison for a child enticement crime. Prosecutors say Ozgur Kurt engaged in sexually graphic online conversations with an individual whom he believed to be a fifteen-year-old minor. He was arrested in September, 2020 when he arrived at a Champaign restaurant to pick up the minor. Kurt pleaded guilty in March.
