Man Accused of Pointing Rifle Out of Normal Hotel Room
A man is charged with disorderly conduct after being accused of pointing a rifle out of a hotel room in Normal. Officers were called out yesterday to the Comfort Suites on Greenbriar Drive on a report of a rifle pointing out of a hotel room window towards the Walmart parking lot. Officers searched the room of Michael Sumpter and found a BB gun. He was arrested and taken to the McLean County Jail.
