Man Holding Gun Spotted Near Several Springfield Schools
(Springfield, IL) — Authorities are investigation after a man holding a gun was spotted near several schools in Springfield. Police say the man was seen walking yesterday in the area of Cook and New Streets. As a result, Springfield High School, Graham Elementary, and Trinity Lutheran School were all placed on soft lockdowns. Officers searched the area, but the man hasn’t been found.
