Pritzker, Bailey Discuss Agriculture
Both candidates for Illinois governor are stressing the importance of agriculture in the state. Incumbent Democratic Governor JB Pritzker and Republican state Senator Darren Bailey face questions about their agriculture-related policies yesterday at a roundtable in McLean County. Pritzker presented himself as an advocate for agriculture, while Bailey discussed his credentials as a farmer. Bailey also criticized the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act signed into law by the governor, and once again blamed Pritzker for Chicago’s violence.
