Illinois Men Charged In Jan 6th Capitol Breach
Two Illinois brothers are accused of taking part in the January 6th U.S. Capitol riots last year. Daniel Leyden of Chicago and Joseph Leyden of La Grange face multiple charges, including assaulting, resisting, or impeding law enforcement officers. Court documents say Daniel Leyden was in a crowd that confronted law enforcement officers at metal barricades, which caused an officer to fall backwards and be pinned under a barricade. Joseph Leyden is accused of lunging at and pushing an officer.
