Unclaimed Property to Go on Auction at Illinois State Fair
When the Illinois State Fair opens later this month, a unique exhibit will be an auction of unclaimed property by the state treasurer’s office. This week, there was a preview of some of the items going up for auction. These include a silver Faberge picture frame, a 500-dollar bill from 19-34 and rare coins and jewelry. The Illinois State Fair opens August 20th in Springfield.
