Highland Park Temporarily Moves Memorial Items Honoring Parade Shooting Victims
Officials in Highland Park, Illinois, say they have moved items honoring the victims of a mass shooting at a Fourth of July parade. City workers moved the items to a veterans memorial. Mayor Nancy Rotering plans to create a lasting memorial in remembrance of the victims. Seven people were killed in the massacre and dozens of others were wounded in the city north of Chicago.
