Police Used Rapid DNA Test To Trace Highland Park Shooter
A rapid DNA test is being credited with helping police trace the suspected Highland Park shooter. NBC 5 reports the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was able to use DNA taken from the rifle found at the scene. The outlet also reports suspect Robert Crimo The Third had been dressed as a woman at some point Monday. It’s not clear if he was still dressed that way when he was found and arrested. The mass shooting in the Chicago suburb left at least six dead and three dozen injured.
