Illinois Tax Relief Begins Today
Illinois residents are getting some tax relief beginning today. The Illinois Family Relief Plan provides more than one-point-eight-billion-dollars in relief. That includes the suspension of the state’s one-percent sales tax on groceries through June 30th of the next year. An increase in the gas tax is being delayed and some residents will be receiving income and property tax rebates.
