Earthquake Hits Southern Illinois
The United States Geological Survey is confirming that an earthquake hit southern Illinois. The two-point-three magnitude quake hit last night about four miles northwest of Mount Vernon. It had a depth of nearly ten miles. There is no word of any damage.
