Billionaire Ken Griffin Adds $25M To Irvin’s GOP Bid For Governor

Billionaire Ken Griffin is putting more money behind Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin’s Republican bid for governor. The founder of Citadel is dropping an additional 25-million-dollars into the Irvin’s campaign as he tries to unseat Governor Prizker. Griffin last contributed 20-million-dollars to the campaign in February. Irvin is among five major contenders for the GOP nomination in the June 28th primary.
