UIS Union Faculty Members Vote To Authorize Strike
Union faculty members at University of Illinois Springfield could be headed for a strike. Union members voted yesterday to authorize a work stoppage if an agreement can’t be reached with the UIS administration. The workers have been working without a contract since last August. The earliest they could walk off the job is May 2nd.
