State Fire Marshal Awards $2.5M In Grants First Responders

The Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal is awarding two-point-five million-dollars to more that one-hundred fire departments and EMS providers across the state.  The funding is part of the 2022 Small Equipment Grant Program, which was established to provide grants for the purchase of small firefighting and ambulance equipment.  The purpose is to allow eligible applicants the opportunity to purchase small equipment that they may otherwise not be able to purchase.
