IDOA Takes Steps To Protect Poultry Flocks

The Illinois Department of Agriculture is taking steps to protect poultry flocks in the state.  The IDOA filed emergency rules banning the sale or exhibiting of poultry and poultry products at swap meets, exhibitions, flea markets, and auction markets in Illinois.  The move was made to prevent the spread of avian influenza.
