Pritzker Still Planning To Deliver Budget Address

Governor Pritzker is still planning to deliver his budget address even as a winter storm hits Illinois.  The governor will deliver his State of the State address and outline his budget proposal this afternoon.  Reports say the spending plan will include nearly one-billion-dollars in tax cuts, freezes and rebates.  Concerns about hazardous winter travel led state legislative leaders to cancel plans for in-person sessions of the House and Senate this week.
