Man In Custody After Child Wounded In Decatur Shooting

A man is in custody after a three-year-old was wounded in a shooting in Decatur.  William Hosea was arrested yesterday and faces preliminary charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and endangering the life of a child.  Police say the child was shot Tuesday night inside a home in the five-hundred-block of West Sawyer Street.  The victim was hospitalized with life-threatening gunshot wounds.  Authorities believe the gun used was likely fired by someone inside the home.
