Law Enforcement Working To Keep Impaired Drivers Off The Roads During Holidays

The Illinois Department of Transportation, State Police and law enforcement agencies throughout the state will be stepping up efforts to keep impaired drivers off the roads during the holidays.  Data shows as of December 16th, there were just over 11-hundred deadly crashes in Illinois this year.  This represents an increase of 115 fatalities from the same period in 2020.  Travelers are also reminded to buckle up while heading to holiday gatherings.
