The Salvation Army is reporting that on December 14th while a volunteer group was ringing bells at Farm and Fleet, 2 gold coins were donated to the Christmas Kettle Campaign. It’s the first report of gold coins being donated in the Decatur area this holiday season. Meanwhile, as of December 11th, the campaign is at 83% of it’s $600,000 Season Goal with 8 days of bell ringing remaining and you can still sign up to ring bells at register to ring dot com. Additionally, all $20 donations in any Walmart Kettles on Monday, December 20th will be matched.
