Illinois Governor Activates State Emergency Operations Center

Illinois Governor JP Pritzker activated the State Emergency Operations Center as well Friday night.  It came in response to the storms rolled through the state which inluded dozens of workers that were trapped in the Edwardsville Amazon warehouse about 20 miles outside St. Louis.   The warehouse’s roof partially collapsed after a tornado tore through the area Friday night that left 6 dead.  The State Emergency Operations Center continues to monitor several areas statewide dealing with the aftermath of the severe weather.
