Illinois Launching New Water Assistance Program

Illinois is launching a new water assistance program for low-income families.  The Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program provides 42-million-dollars in shut-off avoidance for residents unable to pay their water and sewer bills.  Eligibility for the funds is income dependent.  Residents can find out if they are eligible by visiting helpIllinoisfamilies.com.
