Man Arrested In Effingham Shots-Fired Incident

A man is facing charges in connection with an incident where shots were fired.  Police say 27-year-old Micah Ward was arrested yesterday after shots were fired Friday at the Motel Six in the 14-hundred West Fayette Avenue.  He is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and was also arrested on two outstanding warrants in Minnesota for parole violations.  An investigation into the incident is continuing.
