Rivian Expansion Approved By Normal Town Council

Rivian is moving forward with expansion plans after getting approval from the town council in Normal.  The council approved a 623-thousand square foot addition to the west side of the plant’s existing property.  The expansion will be Rivian’s third significant addition to the former Mitsubishi plant since the company took over ownership in 2018.  The property will amount to three-point-seven million square feet once the latest addition is completed.
