The work involves upgrading the capacity of a box culvert. A detour using Illinois 133, Cadwell Road and Illinois 121 will be posted. Work is expected to be completed by Nov. 24th, weather permitting.
No traffic will be permitted on Illinois 32 between TR 2050N and TR 2000N during the repairs. Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detour and should allow for extra travel time.
Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.
