IHDA To Reopen Rental Assistance Program

The Illinois Housing Development Authority is set to reopen its statewide rental assistance program.  The Illinois Rental Payment Program will begin accepting its second round of applications December 6th.  The previously published date for applications was November 8th.  IHDA says the vendor administering the application process needs more time to ensure its platform is running smoothly.  Officials say money from approved applications will still be distributed before the end of the year as scheduled.
