A hard date is set for Illinois state employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All employees covered under union agreements have until November 30th to have received their second shot. The state has failed to reach an agreement with the union representing employees at the Departments of Corrections and Juvenile Justice on contracts, but deadlines for shots remain the same as for workers in other unions to comply with state law.
