Reverend Jesse Jackson, Others Calling For Justice In Jelani Day Case

Reverend Jesse Jackson is among about a dozen pastors who are calling for Justice in the death of Jelani Day.  Jackson and the other pastors gathered at Grove Street Church of God in Christ in Champaign directly following Day’s burial.  Jackson led the expression of frustration over the slow moving nature of the investigation.  The 25-year-old Illinois State University graduate student was reported missing August 25th, before his body was found in the Illinois River September 4th and identified three weeks later.
