Man Pleads Not Guilty In Deadly Decatur Shooting

A suspect is pleading not guilty in connection with a deadly Decatur shooting.  Court records show 20-year-old Talmel Wilson Jr. has entered a not guilty plea after being accused in a deadly May 2019 shooting.  Decatur Police announced Wilson’s arrest September 30th in relation to the death of 18-year-old Suave Turner.  Police say Turner was shot at the MLK Last Stop on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and was taken to the hospital, where he died.  A pre-trial hearing in the case is scheduled for December 2nd.
