Hospital Sisters Health System says it is raising salaries and minimum wage at all its facilities. Officials say only about half of the organization’s 13-thousand employees in Illinois and Wisconsin earn above 15 dollars per hour. Starting October 31st, all employees will earn at least 15-dollars per hour. HSHS President and CEO Damond Boatwright says it’s important to increase the organization’s minimum wage to retain an engaged, talented, and committed workforce.
