Biden Cancels Trip To Chicago

President Biden canceled his trip to Chicago yesterday.  The decision was made so Biden can continue to lead talks over his legislative agenda he’s trying to get through Congress.  Democrats are in ongoing negotiations about how to get a more than three trillion dollar reconciliation bill through Capitol Hill, along with a bipartisan infrastructure bill.  A possible government shutdown and credit default both loom if lawmakers don’t take action.  Biden was scheduled to visit Chicago to promote his vaccination mandate for businesses.
