Governor J.B. Pritzker is extending the deadline for state workers to get fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Pritzker announced yesterday that the state employees in some congregate settings will now have until mid-November to get fully vaccinated. The extension only applies to approximately 260 supervisory employees at the Illinois Department of Justice and the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice. The first dose must be administered by October 14th and the second by November 18th.
