Memorial Health Systems: 16 Dead From COVID Within Last Two Weeks

Officials with Memorial Health System says 16 patients in their hospitals have died from COVID-19 in the last two weeks.  The health system said in a Facebook post that six of the COVID-19 deaths were in patients under the age of 60.  The post included encouragement for people to get vaccinated against the virus, saying “vaccination can prevent tragedies like these.”
