New Legislation Aims To Reduce Pedestrian Deaths In Illinois

A new Illinois law is designed to lower the number of deadly pedestrian traffic accidents.  State Senator Laura Murphy of Des Plaines says the measure requires the Illinois Department of Transportation to take a close look at deadly accidents on state highways.  IDOT will then offer and implement recommendations.  The results of each study will be posted online.
