Judge Denies Bid To Move Rams Trial Out Of St. Louis

A St. Louis judge is rejecting a bid by the Los Angeles Rams and the NFL to move next year’s trial over the team’s 2016 move out of St. Louis.  In denying the league’s motion for a change of venue yesterday,  St. Louis Circuit Court Judge Christopher McGraugh said there’s no evidence that possible city jurors have an inherent bias.  A lawsuit filed in 2017 claims the NFL violated its own relocation rules by allowing the Rams to leave St. Louis.  A trial date is set for January 2022.
