New Legislation Creates Illinois Work Task Force

Illinois is forming a Future of Work Task Force.  A new law signed last week by Governor J.B. Pritzker would charge the task force with expanding workforce development, training, education, and apprenticeship programs.  The bill passed the state House and Senate with unanimous bipartisan support.  Pritzker says the law will make resources available to help workers “prepare for the jobs of tomorrow.”
