Alltown Fills Driver Vacancies

Friday afternoon, Alltown bus company announced that due to drivers being out with COVID, DPS 61 announced some bus routes may not have been running Monday morning. Sunday afternoon, Alltown announced that they had identified backup bus drivers, so all but one DPS bus route will be running when students return on Monday, August 16. Families who were initially notified Friday that there was a bus driver shortage due to COVID have been contacted that their students’ bus will be there to pick them up in the morning. Only one route remained unfilled as of late Sunday afternoon.
