Priztker Signs OTC Birth Control Bill

Birth control will soon be available over the counter in Illinois.  Governor JB Pritzker signed a bill yesterday letting pharmacists sell contraception without a prescription and requiring insurers to cover birth control.  He says the new law will help women decide if they want to get pregnant.   Illinois joins only a handful of states that allow the practice.
