UIUC Bomb Squad Retrieves Object Turned In To Decatur Fire Station

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Police Bomb squad says an object turned in to a Decatur fire station was a road flare.  A person cleaning out a house in Decatur discovered an object they couldn’t identify and turned it in Tuesday to Decatur Fire Station Number One.  Bomb squad officials say the person did the right thing in alerting authorities about the object.
