It could be considered as another sign that things are returning to normal. At a Monday morning press conference, the Macon County Fair Board announced the line-up for the 165th Macon County Fair to be held June 2nd through 6th at the Macon County Fairgrounds. Much like the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater, it’s another large-scale event scheduled for the area since the pandemic got under way in 2020.
The Fair returns with a lineup that includes live entertainment, the rodeo, harness racing, the ITPA truck and tractor pull, karaoke contest, a bags tournament and the demolition derby. The Fair Queen Pageant also returns and of course the livestock competitions. New for this year are helicopter rides from Summerskyz, arts and crafts and commercial vendors. The Macon County Fair runs June 2nd through 6th and the full lineup can be found at maconcountyfair.com
