State Treasurer’s Office Has Over 100 Military Medals To Be Claimed

The state treasurer’s office is reminding military families that they have more than 100 medals waiting to be claimed.  Treasurer Mike Frerich says that most of the medals are sent to his office after they are forgotten inside a safe deposit box or storage facility.  To reclaim the missing medals run a search online at Illinois-treasurer-dot-gov-slash-icash.  Other items like cash, bonds, jewelry, and even baseball cards.
