The Decatur Park District will host summer tennis programs for youth aged 3 – 18. All sessions are held at Fairview Park Tennis Complex featuring 9 competition-grade courts, lounge, concessions/vending, restrooms and showers.
Tiny Tots Tennis (Ages 3 – 5)
Tiny Tots is the perfect beginner’s class for kids aged 3 – 5. Kids will be introduced to the basics of tennis.
Date: Tuesdays, June 8 – July 27
Time: 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. or 9:00 – 9:30 a.m.
Fee: $52 ($48 with resident discount)
Ten & Under Tennis with USTA (Ages 6 – 10)
Ten & Under Tennis divides courts into segments and uses smaller areas, smaller nets, and youth friendly racquets. Fee includes a loaner racquet.
Date: Mondays, June 7 – July 26 or Tuesdays, June 8 – July 27
Time: 9:30 – 10 a.m. (Monday session); 5:30 – 7 p.m. (Tuesday session)
Fee: $75 ($65 with resident discount)
Beginner Tennis (Ages 11 & 12)
This class meets twice a week for one hour. Learn a new sport and make new friends!
Date: Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 8 – July 29
Time: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Fee: $62 ($56 with resident discount)
Teen Tennis (Ages 13 – 18)
Teens can learn the game or improve their tennis skills.

Fee: $75 ($65 with resident discount)
Fairview Park Tennis Complex hours are June 1 – August 11, 2021. Monday thru Friday the complex is open 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, the complex is open 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Walk-on courts are free, reserved courts are $5 per hour. The ball machine can be rented for $7 per hour.
