Top State Tech Official Offers Advice About Choosing Passwords

Illinois’ top technology official is offering advice about choosing a secure password.  Chief Information Officer Chris Britten says it’s important to have a complex password to protect your information.  He also suggests not using birthdates, children’s names, or pet names that can easily be found on social media.  Britten adds that it’s not good to have the same password for several accounts.
