State’s Health Insurance Enrollment Deadline Extended Into August

Illinoisans are getting more time to sign up for a plan on the state’s health insurance marketplace.  Get Covered Illinois Executive Director Laura Pellikan says there are thousands of people who are without coverage that should take advantage of the extra time.  She adds that the special enrollment period deadline has been extended from May 15th to August 15th.  You can check out all plans and get help with enrolling online at get-covered-Illinois-dot-gov.
