Investigation Underway into Alleged Inappropriate Comments by Taylorville Mayor

City officials in Taylorville are investigating a charge of harassment their treasurer has filed against Mayor Bruce Barry.  According to the minutes from the March first city council meeting, the city treasurer — Jacque Nation — asked for an update into the investigation into comments by the mayor about her and an alderman.  WAND TV reports the minutes also stated the mayor had apologized to them.  Mayor Barry is running for reelection in next month’s consolidated election.
