Governor J.B. Pritzker and state officials are working on ways to bring conventions back to Illinois. Pritzker’s office announced the effort last week to draw in conventions by this summer. Pritzker made the announcement after touring a vaccination site in Grundy County. He says he still relies on experts when evaluating when it is safe to reopen parts of the state’s economy.
