The 14-hundred-dollar stimulus checks are not the only checks coming out of the to-be passed coronavirus relief package in Washington, D.C., as the state of Illinois is in line for a big payday as well. U.S. Senator Dick Durbin yesterday said Illinois will see over 13-billion-dollars from the package. The state itself will get seven-and-a-half-billion, while cities and counties will get another five-and-a-half-billion. Senators approved the package on Saturday without a single Republican vote. The plan now heads back to the House for a vote today before the checks will be in the mail.
