Former Illinois Governor Among Wealthy FL Community Residents Vaccinated Early

A report by the Miami Herald says former Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner was among a group of residents in a wealthy, gated Florida Keys community that were vaccinated for COVID-19 in mid-January.  The Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo acknowledged in a January 22nd message to residents that they had been vaccinated even as other seniors were struggling to get the vaccine.  Those receiving the vaccine were in the age group allowed at the time, but were prioritized over other communities as seniors struggled to access the vaccine.
