Lindsay Enloe is a partner with Utility Gas Management and said the jump over Valentine’s Day weekend had to do with certain Central Illinois pipelines trying to balance supply with customers’ use. Enloe says he’s still looking into more reasons why market prices jumped so much and is working with village officials to ensure the spike doesn’t happen again.
