IL Nuclear Plants Worked At 100 Percent During Cold Snap

Illinois nuclear power plants worked overtime during the recent cold snap.  Exelon Corporation says all six of Illinois’s nuclear plants, which includes the Clinton Nuclear Power Generating Station, ran at nearly 100 percent output all last week.  Exelon says its plants generate over half of Illinois’s electricity.
